(Ongoing) Correcting the Chiral Central Charge in EntanglementâAreaâLaw ViolationsPI: Prof. Gilyoung Cho (KAIST)2025 â Present
Topologically ordered phases in (2+1)âD are characterised by the chiral central charge câ. Numerical extractions overshoot when the state only approximately obeys an area law. I investigate the leading error term of câ as a function of system size when small violations of the area law are allowed.

(Ongoing) Thermal Operations vs. GibbsâPreserving Covariant ChannelsPI: Prof. Nelly Ng (NTU Singapore)2024 â 2025
For systems with nonâdegenerate energy gaps, I aim to prove that the set of states reachable under Gibbsâpreserving covariant channels coincides with those reachable via Thermal Operations, and to analyse the complexity of deciding TOâreachability.

RydbergâAtom Graphs for Quadratic Unconstrained Binary OptimisationPI: Prof. Jae Wook Ahn (KAIST)2023
Developed a general method to construct a Rydbergâatom graph whose Hamiltonian realises an arbitrary QUBO function without requiring individual qubit detuning by using offset qubits and quantum wires. Published in Adv. Quantum Technol. 2024.
